Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Retrofit Environmental is looking for a hard-working, positive, and safe individual to join our team as an Environmental Technician I.  The Environmental Technician is responsible for traveling to customer sites, sorting customer’s regulated waste chemicals, packaging the chemicals to regulatory standards, and safely transporting them back to our facility in Little Canada, MN.

No prior experience is required for this role. We understand that starting a career can be challenging, which is why this opportunity is perfectly suited for individuals who are eager to learn and grow professionally. We will provide on the job training for all technical details related to the Environmental Technician I role, however a qualified candidate must have the following:

  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Ability to Pass a DOT Physical Exam (a medical check by a licensed doctor)
  • Basic Understanding of Chemistry (High School Level)
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Willingness to Learn
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Ability to Follow Strict Safety Protocol
