Customer Service Representative
Retrofit Environmental is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at our Little Canada, MN location. The CSR will be responsible for delivering an exceptional level of customer support, building and strengthening customer relationships, responding to customer inquiries, scheduling pick-ups, and upselling our services as applicable. The CSR must also ensure accuracy while processing orders, maintain customer database, and complete other administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide great customer service to our existing customer-base, through consistent outbound communication over the phone and through email
- Take incoming calls, identify need, offer, and provide Retrofit Environmental solutions, and/or pass to appropriate rep
- Provide timely and regular, customer contact, scheduling recycling pick-ups while increasing sales by adding additional waste streams
- Process all Usage Reports and assist the Sales team with necessary paperwork as needed
- Maintain clean and updated CRM, and billing software, as directed by management, including updating accounts, contacts, phone numbers, and pricelists
- Work with Operations to deliver on goods sold, including assisting with call backs and other customer-related activities
- Communicate and collaborate with management to efficiently offer the highest level of customer service
- Be aware of and comply with all company policies and procedures and Core Values
- Generate Hazardous Materials shipping documents using custom printing software
- Generate invoices from completed order paperwork
- Maintain digital records
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
- High Schools diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years of Customer Service/Sales experience
- Associates degree (A.A.) preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex technical documents. Ability to respond effectively to technical questions. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.
Confidentiality Requirements:
This position requires the individual to have access to confidential customer information. To successfully perform this position, confidentiality of the information with which the individual has contact must be maintained.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
