How to Safely Package Batteries
With the ever changing regulations on what is required or what is suggested for the variety of battery types out there, it’s hard to know if you are safely and properly packing your batteries for shipment. Improper packaging of batteries can be very dangerous and can lead to shorting, sparking, fires and even explosions. We see a wide variety of batteries come through our facility for recycling, including lead acid, multiple types of lithium, nickel cadmium, alkaline and more, all with varying rules and regulations.
