The Role

The Finance Analyst role is centered on providing crucial financial analysis to support decision-making processes. This includes developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing data, and creating/preparing comprehensive reports utilizing various technology applications. Additionally, this role oversees customer accounts and managing account collections with the support of the team. The Ideal Candidate should demonstrate a high degree of initiative, possess the ability to work independently, and excel in cross-departmental collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Analyze financial records and statements for accuracy
  • Develop various financial statements and reports for internal management and external reporting purposes
  • Perform month-end close activities
  • Assist in annual audit
  • Maintain a database concerning expenses and billing for sold jobs/projects
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements for project closeout
  • Inventory management
  • Fixed asset management
  • Perform Prepaid reconciliation
  • Conduct Bank Reconciliation
  • Handle 1099 Reporting
  • Process sales/use tax as required by states
  • Establish credibility of new customer accounts
  • Manage customer portals
  • Calculate sales employee commission payments
  • Serve as back-up to account payable process when needed
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadline, displaying flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and work with a proactive, ownership approach and a sense of urgency.
  • Provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries and needs of both internal and external individuals.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education and/or Experience:

  • 5+ years of accounting, finance, or analytics experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn other applications.
  • Excellent 10-key skills.
  • Experience with certified payroll reporting preferred

Salary Range: $62,000-72,000
