Supporting The Interior Lighting Campaign

What is the Interior Lighting Campaign?
The Interior Lighting Campaign (ILC) is a recognition and guidance program from the U.S. Department of Energy designed to help facility owners and managers take advantage of energy-saving opportunities from high-efficiency interior lighting solutions.
Through last year, ILC Participants have planned lighting system upgrades that are expected to save over $68 million annually in electricity costs through energy use savings of nearly 642 million kWh. These upgrades are often the easiest, most cost-effective energy-saving opportunities available.
Lighting systems utilizing controls, can save up to 80%!
With over 360 million troffer luminaires in office spaces across the U.S., that’s a lot of opportunity for energy savings! ILC’s goal reflects annual savings of about $34.5 million in electricity costs and nearly 326 million kWh savings across a wide set of our Nation’s buildings annually.
